40+ weeks

Well, today is the 26th...which means that my due date has officially come and gone! Our doctor says that Delainey is bound and determined to stay in (no change since my last appointment), which means that we are looking at a C-Section bright and early on Monday morning. So it looks like our little gal's birthday will be August 29th! We will keep everyone posted as best we can.

My mom (Nonni Donna) got here on the 20th and we have been so blessed to have her here. I just feel a little guilty that there is still no baby...so we have been shopping, running errands, and hanging out while we wait for Delainey's arrival. It is so nice to just get to spend time with her and Parker is having an absolute blast! (I am also loving being pampered by my momma while she is here!)

As an early birthday present my parents bought Parker a bike...but we couldn't keep it from him until October, so he has been a bike-riding fool! I can't believe how quickly he picked it up, especially because our kiddo has never had a trike! We were wondering why he was having a little bit of trouble grasping the concept of pushing forward while he was pedaling and not pushing back on the brakes...then we realized that most kiddos have ridden trikes before getting a bike...but ours went right to the real thing. Here is a video of our little guy after just a couple days. He looks so big and I can't believe he is going to be 3 soon!
