A Wedding, Walking...oh yeah...and the Emergency Room

For my starting picture I chose this adorable one of Parks and my Dad...Papa KevO! Parker loves to ride on the riding lawn mower. My dad said he gabs and makes noise the whole time!

Here's another picture that is just too cute...Drayson and Parks at Target sitting in the big boy cart. It was too funny to see them in there like such big guys!

Really, I think that this should be at least two posts...but it the interest of saving time and effort for myself, it is going to be one.

Last Friday we headed to Snohomish because some friends of ours were getting married on Saturday at Crystal Lake Lodge a little ways outside of Snohomish. We stayed at Trav's mom and dad's house and Parker found a new place to play while we were there. The coffee table has doors on either side and it was like a tunnel made especially for him...or so he thought! He was having a blast in there and even tried to stand up!

The wedding was beautiful and Matt & Demisa both looked amazing! It was great to get to see them, and to have so many of our friends in one place at the same time! Trav wore one of his new suits and looked super snazzy! Parker was sporting a cute new pair of jeans and a Rugby shirt (what else would he wear to the wedding of one of the Rugby Alum???) and I got to wear my new dress. It has been a very long time since I wore a dress! Enjoy a photo recap of the night:

We had such a blast at the wedding and were sad that it was over and that again, we and all our friends were spread across the state again. It really stinks that my best friend Ashley doesn't live in the same town...but at least she only lives in Yakima and it's not too far away. On another note...some of you may remember my posts about Ashley's pregnancy and still-birth of her and Luke's daughter Madilyn...but she is pregnant again. This time with TWINS! Yup, that's right, twins. Check out the Jaeger Fam's blog to read more about it. She is totally glowing and I wish them the best of luck! I can't wait for them to get here!

the happy parents
So I just have to say that Parker is really the cutest little guy. He is starting to look so big now and I can't believe he is going to be 1 in just two months! He is taking steps now. He even took about 14 little steps in a row and Jammi and Lee's without holding on to anything. He loves walking with his little car too!

Parks & Uncle Tyler

On our way out of town we saw this fellow just hangin' out on the side of the road. It was too strange to see a peacock outside of a zoo.

Last night (Wednesday night) we ended up taking Parks to the Emergency Room because he had a fever since the night before that finally got too high to try to remedy with Tylenol, Motrin, or luke warm baths. The fever spiked to 104 degrees and it was time to head to the ER. Poor little guy did such a great job. It was about 10 pm before we got out of there. Daddy and Parks were both asleep in the room while we were waiting for nose and throat culture results to come back. Ick! No one likes going to the ER, but it is worse with a little one! All of the cultures came back negative, which means that it is viral and not bacterial and we just have to wait it out. We spent today relaxing and Parks spent it basically naked all day! He loved it I'm sure! Hopefully he will be feeling totally better in the next couple days.

Our Weekend Full of Friends, Rugby & Bruises

{here is my starting picture...such a "cheeser-face"}

This past weekend was tons of fun. On Friday Daddy and Parker did laundry...well mostly Daddy...but Parker helped!

{Check out his Sour-Puss face...the sun was in his eyes and he hates that!}

He has started putting his turtle bath toy in his mouth and holding it there while he plays with other toys, it is so funny!

Ashley and Luke also came into town for the Rugby Alumni Game against Eastern's current Rugby team...it was so great to see them. I can't believe how many pictures I have from this weekend and none of us with them at all. I guess we were just having too much fun to think about taking pictures! Parker loves them both so much and had a blast swimming in the pool at their hotel! I can't believe how much he enjoyed playing in the water and being pulled around in his floatie by Trav!

{We went out to dinner with Ashley and Luke that night...Parker was sporting some light denim jeans and a polo...it totally reminds me of Trav and his brothers!--It is pretty obvious that Daddy dressed him!}

The Alumni Game was on Saturday and fun to watch. I think that the "old guys" really got a taste of how out of shape they all were! It was too bad that the "young guys" ended up winning. Travis came away from the game with a nice parting gift in the form of a grass burn on his face! Yikes does it look painful!

{Trav and our good friend Matt}

{Matt and Parker...such a good buddy}

{Trav's face is so scratched up...and he is so sore today--I guess it's time to start working out again!}
