Well, we are now at 37 weeks along which means I am technically considered full-term at this point! I cannot believe how quickly this pregnancy has flown by. Now we are in the "waiting game" to see whether Delainey will make her debut on her own or if she will require a C-Section like Parker did. We are hoping to do a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) with Delainey, but have a C-Section already scheduled for August 29th in case she doesn't come on her own. Currently I am 1 cm dilated and my cervix is starting to soften so at least that gives us a base-line to work with when they check again next week. Please pray for progress so that we do not have to have major surgery again!
Things are going well still...she is moving like crazy...which at this point in the game is pretty painful! She has totally run out of room and isn't very happy about it at all. With Parker I had gained so much weight and my water was huge so I didn't really notice all the painful kicks and jabs. He was content to just swim around in there and hang out. Delainey does not have the luxury of the fat momma with the huge swimming pool and isn't as thrilled with her accommodations as her brother was! Sorry sweetheart...but momma is thrilled to not be as big as a barge this time!!! Here is a little comparison so you can see what I am talking about:
35 weeks with Parker
(please note the lack of ankles...also known as "cankles", the fat face, and all-over ginormity that was pregnant me! I also believe my wedding ring would no longer fit at this point...or probably a good deal before this point.)
35 weeks with Delainey
(please note the fact that I am still wearing my wedding ring, the not-fat face, and if you could see my ankles you would notice that they are still tiny and dainty...as they should be. I am very proud of that, especially because it is 110 degrees here in the hot-house that is Oklahoma! Also, the pants that I am wearing in the picture of my pregnancy with Parker literally fall off of me now, so half of my maternity clothes from my first pregnancy are unusable!)
We are now at the point where we will have a doctor appointment every week so I will keep all of you posted as to what lies ahead for this momma and her princess (as well as the two men of the house that will keep us on our toes)!

You are adorable preggo!
You look beautiful, I'm so proud of you for keeping the weight down. It's going to be so much easier to get back in shape once Delainey finally gets here. Can't wait to see you (Parker & Travis too). Love you. Mom
Not much longer! Congrats on keeping the weight off!
