Happy 3 Months to Parker!!!

I cannot believe that my little guy is already 3 months old! It seems like just yesterday that we were heading to the hospital for my induction. Parks weighs a whopping 14 pounds now. He is quite the chunker! He is laughing so much now. I would post a video of it, but as soon as he sees the camera he becomes so fascinated with it that all he wants to do is stare at it! I have to try to hide it from him now. He is such a big boy now and is starting to be able to do so many new things. Parker is the light of my life and I thank God every day that he chose me to be his Mommy! I could not imagine my life without him. I have included a slideshow with a bunch of pictures of Parker (starting from a couple minutes old and going to a couple days ago). It is amazing how much he has changed in just 3 short months! He started out looking exactly like his Daddy, but as time goes on I think he is starting to be a pretty even mix of the two of us. Enjoy the slideshow!

On another great note...I have lost almost all of my "baby weight." I only have 10 pounds left to go! I was already heavier than I would like before Parker was born, and gained WAAAAY too much while I was pregnant with him! So, I am thrilled to say the least! I am fitting in way more of my clothes now, too! I am almost back in my pre-preggo jeans! How exciting!!! I guess it really is the little things in life.

Travis and I met when he was a freshman at Eastern Washington University. Neither of us were looking to fall in love or even looking for someone to date...but fate stepped in and gave us a huge shove into a relationship that will last a lifetime. I graduated from EWU with my BA in Elementary Education with a Major in Mathematics and a Minor in Reading. I could not be happier with my decision to become a Teacher and feel it is what I was meant to do (along with being a Mommy). After I graduated, we fell in love with a little rescue puppy and just had to make him our own. We named him Deacon...and still have no idea what kind of dog he really is. We were married on September 8, 2007 at Central United Protestant Church in Richland, Washington. This is the same church where my parents and sister were married and the place where I feel the most connected to Christ. On October 18, 2008 we welcomed our son Parker James into the world (almost a week after his due date). He was totally determined to stay in my tummy. Parker is so curious and sweet. He truly keeps our lives interesting! In June of 2009 Travis graduated from EWU with his BA in Criminal Justice and Minors in Government and Sociology. We try to live everyday to the fullest and to live with no regrets. Travis joined the United States Air Force in June 2010. It was difficult to have him away from home for so long during training, but it was all for the greater good. In January of 2011 we packed up the U-Haul and moved to Oklahoma and our first duty station at Tinker Air Force Base. We were thrilled to welcome a baby girl into the world on August 29, 2011. We named her Delainey Kae and she totally completed our little family. Our children are our world and we are so blessed. There is no greater gift in life than family and we are well aware of it. We are so excited to start the next chapter of our lives as a family of 4 {living who knows where} and to see what else the Lord has in store for THE GUION FAMILY!
