I know it has been a while since the last post...sorry Becky! Mom told me that you were getting upset with me! Hee Hee!
Well, again, like always...a lot has happened since the last update. Dad and Trav put a new roof on the garage. Here are the two handymen working away in the 100 degree heat. I am totally shocked they didn't end up with heatstroke!
Parker started making a new face and noise a couple weeks ago...it is hilarious. And not very attractive! He scrunches his nose all up and makes a very obnoxious nasal whine. It makes us all laugh so hard. Here he is making the face in the kitchen sink while getting a not-so-enjoyable cool bath! He got a little throat infection and had a 102 fever for a couple days. We tried just about everything to get it to go away. You can tell by the face in the second picture that he didn't care for it much at all. He was on antibiotics for a little over a week and is now feeling WAY better. He is surely back to his old tricks.
We were supposed to go camping with Trav's side of the family in Ellensburg over the weekend of July 24th-26th. That ended up getting cancelled...so we headed to Snohomish for the weekend so that we could still hang out with the Guion clan. Parker absolutely loved Grandma Jammi's (and Grandpa Lee's...I hate to leave you out Grandpa...even though I know it's not really your tupperware) tupperware drawer. Who needs real toys anyway??? He also impressed everyone with his walking (using his new car that he can push around). He isn't quite walking on his own...be he is so close! We had a blast visiting with family and getting to see everyone. Before we knew it, it was time to head back to the Tri-Cities. Thanks for everything Guion/Duncan Family!!! We had fun visiting.
Don't you just love the butter tub as a hat??? I think it's going to be the new "in thing" and we should all make sure we have one to wear around!
We have been doing a lot of boating lately. Which has been great since it is so flippin' hot outside here in the Tri! Plus...my nephew Caleb (who is almost 5) decided that he wanted to wakeboard after going on the wakeboard with Papa KevO. And what does every 4 1/2 year old need...their very own wakeboard of course!!! Check out my sister's blog to read more about that (CLICK HERE). Parker loves being on the boat. He especially loves the wind blowing in his face! Our dirty little guy loved playing in the sand too! It will be nice when he can actually walk around like Drayson and not have to crawl through the sand! He didn't totally mind being dunked up to his sholders to get the sand off either. I was shocked because that water is COLD! Not quite as bad when it is over 100 degrees outside though!
Don't mind the food in his mouth...just look at how stinkin' cute he is!
Here we are...being our goofy selves...not much else I can say in our defense!
On a side-note...we took Parks to his new pediatrician last Friday. He is now 20 lbs. 12 oz. and about 30 in. long. Growing well and doing great!
