Fun Times...&... Not-So-Fun Times

On Saturday, my mom came to visit! It was great to see her. She had gotten an activity mat for Parker and had a few other things to bring up to us. Parker LOVES the activity mat. Especially the red bird! You can see him having a little stare-down with it in the picture. He just sits in his Boppy pillow on the activity mat and stares at the bird and the lights. It is so funny to watch him get so captivated by something! After Saturday was over with...we took Sunday to relax because we knew that Parker had his 2 week doctor's appointment and circumcision on Monday. Poor little guy!



On Monday we headed to the pediatrician's office. The doctor said that he is doing great! Usually at the 2 week check they like to see newborns get back to their birth weight. When Parker was born he weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. On Monday, he weighed a whopping 8 lbs. 8 oz. He was also an inch longer. He is growing so fast! He did such a great job at the appointment and afterwards. We are so blessed with such an amazing little guy. The picture below shows him in his carrier after the appointment.
